Timbers Charm (Timber) is nearly 5 years old, standing 15hh and is likely to continue growing even further. Timber is an incredibly fast learner. He has developed good ground manners and a very friendly demeanor, using the Parelli training program. He can back up on a dime – even through gates, he loads and unloads, drives on-line and at liberty and he is not spooky. He stands well for the farrier (I keep him in a full set of shoes), and will stand tied for as long as needed.
Timber has an incredible personality, and he is a looker to boot! Once this horse has bonded with you, he is willing to do just about anything you ask. He does very well at obstacles, took Reserve Champion in the Obstacle/Trail class series for the 2022 season in Waynesville, NC. Although he is doing very well under saddle and is broke at a walk, trot and canter, I would still consider him a little green.
