this colt is very respectful on the ground and in the saddle. he listens well to leg cues. he’s soft in the bridle and been working really good with me. he has a slow walk trot and canter. i ride him every day whether it’s a long trail ride on the road, pasture or feild, or groundwork in the pen.
he’s 15hh and isn’t done growing. He will be three this spring.
he goes when u want him to and has light controls. stops fast. listens well. rides relaxed. i’ve open gates off of him everyday, slide off the back of him etc he’s a very calm horse.
he loads great and stands tied. he is good with his feet and has good manors.
i trained him with the downunder horsemanship method and been through all the fundamentals and some of the intermediate kit. i will continue his training every day until someone buys him. i’m selling him because i break horses and sell them.
he moves out when u want him to and he stays in the same gate you asked him to be in. he doesn’t take off without u asking and he doesn’t slow down and act lazy. he doesn’t walk off whenever you get on him.
he backs up off light pressure of the bridle. he bends and softens in all gates. he yeilds his hindquarters in the saddle and on ground and will move his front end over off leg pressure also. he stops off of the seat of the rider.
ive been working on putting a bunch of miles on his feet and teaching him to bend vertically to the bridle, get better controls of each part of his body, do rollbacks, and get more responsive and soft every day.
i can lay him down and he will go through water, over bridges etc. not scared of ropes or plastic bags etc i do a ton of desensitizing with him. if you want to see video or more pictures text my number.
