The first Sankey at Braman, OK, 1968	The first Carpenter Rodeo Company Warpaint, 1970. Warpaint was a true wild horse, and roamed the range - probably in South Dakota - before joining Carpenter Rodeo.
Yukon, a gentle palomino who liked to buck He was a solid money horse for many years. Note his relaxed expression.	The legendary rodeo clown War Hoop, on the infamous bronc, the first Ed Hickey. War Hoop clowned many Carpenter Rodeos, and there were several good "Ed Hickey" horses.

Carpenter Rodeo Company Photographs

The photographs above were all taken of Carpenter Rodeo Company livestock. Carpenter Rodeo toured Kansas and Oklahoma providing rodeo livestock for more than 40 years, retiring in 1999. Most of the above photos were taken by long-time Carpenter Rodeo Company photographer Steve Vanselous, but not all. Unfortunately, not all photo credits are known.
