Tips For Washing And Drying Jeans

Always read and follow the label that came with
your jeans to know how to wash and care for them.
- To help preserve the look and color of your jeans, turn them inside-out
before washing and wash them in cool water. Never use bleach.
- To encourage fading wash in warmer temperatures.
- Dry your jeans on a cool dryer setting. Or, if you use a warm or hot
setting always remove the jeans from the dryer while they are still damp and
hang them straight or lay them flat to finish drying. If you want, you can
shape the jeans while they're damp by gently tugging or pulling the area you
want to shape (for example, you can pull on the inseam to help stretch the
jeans longer).
Tips For Zippers On Jeans
If a zipper is hard to zip try
one of these methods to make it easier:
- Rub the zipper with a pencil. The graphite in the pencil makes the the
zipper slide more easily.
- Rub the zipper with wax from a candle, lip balm, or petroleum
jelly.

If the zipper won't stay up:
- Spray it with a little bit of hairspray.

- Or, thread a small rubber band through the hole in the zipper. You will
probably want a smaller rubber band than the one shown in the picture.

Next, tuck
the rubber band through itself and pull tight.

Put your jeans on and zip them up. Put the end of the rubber band
around the button at the top of the waist, then button your jeans
like usual.
