Circle Y Fun Facts To Know
Looking for the serial number on a Circle Y saddle?
Circle Y puts their saddles' serial numbers on a metal plate on the left side of
the saddle underneath the seat jockey. The serial number will even tell you if
the saddle is a regular tree or a wide tree. Just look at the last two numbers: 04
stands for a regular saddle tree width, and 05 is for a wide tree.
Some Circle Y Saddles Have a "Flex-Lite" Tree.
What Is That?
Circle Y's patented Flex-Lite saddle tree is designed to be lightweight, and to
give a flexible fit for the horse. The tree conforms to the horse's back while
the saddle skirts have a neoprene filler for comfort for both the horse and
rider.
What Is "Softee" Leather?
On some saddles, Circle Y uses what it calls "Softee" leather on the seat jockeys and fenders.
Softee leather provides a ready to ride feel, reducing the rider's knee and ankle strain.
